Located at the beautiful Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club in Pahrump, just outside Las Vegas, this is the official high-performance driving school for Chevrolet Corvette owners. Founded by Canadian racing legend Ron Fellows, whose racing accomplishments include championships in Trans-Am, NASCAR, and endurance racing, the program is designed to help Corvette owners unlock the full potential of their cars while emphasizing safety, precision, and control.

New Corvette owners are eligible for the subsidized two-day Corvette Owners School for only $1,000, a significant savings from the regular tuition price of $3,695.

Even better, you do not use your own car. Participants drive school-provided Corvettes identical to their own models, allowing drivers to explore braking limits, cornering grip, acceleration, and vehicle dynamics without putting wear and tear on their personal vehicles.

 

Through a series of progressively challenging exercises, students learn:

• Dynamic car control

• Threshold braking

• Proper vision and scanning techniques

• Passing etiquette

• Cornering techniques

• Vehicle balance and weight transfer

Depending on the course level, students can expect approximately 130 track miles during the Corvette Owners School and nearly 200 miles during Level 2 programs.

Track configurations range from 1.5 miles for owner courses to over 2.6 miles for advanced programs, all within a facility that offers nearly 10 miles of available racing surface.

The resort itself is a destination for automotive enthusiasts, featuring luxury condominiums, lakeside casitas, a clubhouse, and excellent dining facilities. Breakfast and lunch are included, creating an atmosphere that feels more like a high-end motorsports vacation than a classroom.

On October 26, 2026, I completed my second Ron Fellows school experience, having previously attended with my C8 Stingray. This session focused specifically on the E-Ray platform.

Driving an E-Ray is a unique experience compared to a Stingray or Z06. Its all-wheel-drive system and front electric motors create different handling characteristics, particularly during corner entry and exit. Understanding how to maximize those advantages was one of the many valuable lessons covered during the program.
