ROMP ROUND OREGON
Five couples from the Palm Springs Corvette Club joined participants from
Victor Valley Vettes, Wild West Corvettes, and Corvettes of Sonoma County for a
15-Corvette romp around Oregon starting September 4 and returning home to
Coachella Valley on Sept 15. The trip was organized and lead by Tom Pinard of
Victor Valley Vettes, and what a treat it was. Activities included driving, eating and partying followed by more driving,
eating, and partying.
PSSC Members included Bill and Sue Rashford, Mike and Vicki Nichols, Lou and
Karen Latragna, Mike and Sandi Donnelly, and Jerry and Susan Corteau. Overnight
stops included Bridgeport and Susanville in California and John Day, Cascade
Locks, Mcminnville, Tetarts, Newport, Lakeside, and Roseburg in Oregon. On the
way home the trip officially ended in Redding California with some members
stopping in Los Banos for an overnight stay.
Imagine all that time in Oregon and not a drop of rain.
