Neal and Gayle opt factory delivery. Neal and Gayle Brune took factory delivery of a 2009 black Corvette coupe.

Big Bear Bash. Jack Allison was the only club member to run a car in the autocross in Big Bear this summer. He made an honorable showing, but it would have been nice to have others join in the fun. Bill and Sue hosted a barbecue at their cabin after the autocross for other visitors from the club.
Item of Note. Patty Schram was injured in a automobile accident on Tuesday, July 8. She is recovering nicely, but has a some leftover aches and pains. We all wish her well as she continues to heal. Word has it that Mel is having the damaged rear section of the car repaired to look like a Z06.
General Meeting. The September General Meeting has been cancelled due to officers on travel. The October Meeting will be held at the new Jessup Chevy store on Hwy 111.
Picnic in Idyllwild. The annual picnic is planned for Saturday, August 23. See Upcoming Events Page for details.
